To REALTOR or NOT TO REALTOR with your new home build????
Well, I think you all know my answer. I say REALTOR it up, especially if it is TEAM-PRZADA. :) No really, having a REALTOR during this process is a smart choice, really smart. I mean.....think of it as an insurance policy. The hubs and I happen to be dealing with what we feel is a solid company, a wonderful on-site sales representative, a fantastic designer, and a great builder. Our REALTORS, have already proven invaluable....and we are sailing some pretty smooth seas! That is not always the case, as I am sure you all have heard home-building-horror-stories! On the off chance building a new home is not as smooth as our process, remember this: your REALTOR is on your team representing your interests. They help manage your building timeline, bring up and ask those important questions you either forgot or didn't even think about....AND negotiate the price and contract. Also, if you have a current home to sell, your REALTOR can help you navigate the contingency. That's a big sea of details people. I don't think I would ever choose to go it alone, even if I had purchased a new build before. Even though our process has seemingly been that one-in-a-million, warm and fuzzy GREAT story, I am still thankful we have a top-notch real estate team in our corner. Believe me, it is worth it.
