The model homes at Lexington Country HAVE.IT.ALL. I thought I had gone to design heaven when I spent my Saturday afternoon exploring this new subdivision! More on that trip to Nirvana later.
Lexington Country is described as a new gated, luxury development in Frisco located off of Coit, just South of Eldorado in the zip code of 75035. Frisco ISD will serve this neighborhood. For the time being, residents of Lexington Country will attend Norris Elementary, but eventually, will attend an on-site neighborhood elementary, projected to be Liscano Elementary. The developer of Lexington Country is Bluebonnet BR, LLC and is managed by Landon Development Company. This neighborhood has a plethora of amenities!!! As mentioned, a new elementary school will be built within the neighborhood. The subdivision will also include approximately 17 acres of park and open space, along with a 7000 square foot amenity center that is purported to house a banquet hall, which can be rented by residents for functions, fitness center, resort style pool with a splash-play area, separate toddler pool, playground AND an approximately 2000 square foot wrap around porch! According to Lexington Country representatives, the development will span roughly 324 acres and feature about 1100 homes. Information regarding home sites states each property will range from approximately 55 feet x 110 feet up to 90 feet by 130 feet. The community will be comprised of 14 phases with some of the phases offering premium oversized lots. At this time, the price range is $400s-over $1 million. The model homes are in the process of being built, but at least 5 are completed, with a projection of 10 model homes prior to completion of the subdivision. The builders in Lexington Country are:

So, back to those models…they are FABulous. As proof positive of this, check out the photos below!!! I certainly enjoyed my exploratory afternoon, strolling through almost every one. At the time publication of our humble blog, the Toll Brothers models were under construction, so I look forward to see them upon completion! All of the model homes have SO.MANY. UPGRADES. The average is typically $75,000-$100,000 in upgrades. Think of model homes like a career portfolio. When applying for a job, you want to showcase your best work, right? Well, the builders want to showcase all of the amazing stuff they can do for you! The floorplans as they are designed, are no doubt wonderful, but the upgrades in the model homes are intended to show options that can be added to the existing floorplan at time of construction.
